**WARNING** May Cause Controversy***

So as you all know I came out as Agnostic a few weeks ago and I have found a safe haven on a Facebook group where I can't be judged and have support.  Sometimes the Admin will post scripture from the Bible that are just demeaning to women and so on... 

One of them was a verse from 1 Timothy 2:11-12  A Woman should learn in quietness and full submission.  I do not permit a woman to teach or to assume authority over a man: she must be quiet.

This is seriously one of the reason why I chose who I am;  I am such a feminist and that last thing I need is a man telling me how to do things and that I have to obey him.  I am my own person!  I am not a mans slave.  I am strongly a believer in equality among genders.  The funny thing is I see myself teaching other men how to do things.  Chris hardly knew what to do when we had our daughter; it felt nice to be teaching someone something that I had knowledge of because I've been there with my first born.   I love being able to teach others something new; the last thing I want is being told by a book that I shouldn't be teaching others and that I should submit to a man.  At my new job, yes, I had men show me how to do things but you know what I didn't have to be quiet; I got to put my input in or ask questions.
